April is National Poetry Month. A few of my poems are posted on the Our Echo site. Just look for Cynthia Ross there. Here’s a tribute poem that I wrote about a steamship that sank in the Mississippi River.  It’s called “Steamship Arabia.”

Some other poems that I have there are Haiku Buffalo, Wichita – Mighty Big City and one called Monarch Butterfly.

New Book Available

January 09 – My book of children’s poems was published.  My daughter did a wonderful job matching some of her photos with the poems and I used vintage family photos for the cover and many poems.  I’m very pleased with how it turned out.  The watermelon design is perfect for the watermelon poem.

Since the title of the book is Ride a Stick Horse, the photo of me at age three or four with a stick horse was just right for the cover.

The Kansas Oil Museum stocked it in their gift shop, so people can buy it there.  They also featured it on their website so people can order it from them online.  Click here
